A shared mission
On this page I just want to give my own (selfish) thoughts on what this means to me and my own mission.

I really can't think of a better partnership where we have a shared mission.
This really came out from these projects

Canuary - each Jan I focus on one type of trash - aluminium drink cans (that now have a deposit on them)

The canuarydress - made from 600 cans I picked up off the streets, I turned it into a crazy outfit and ran a couple of marathons in it
I am so excited by this partnership. This is great for not just me, but Statiegeld Nederland and all my other sponsors.
National Exposure
The most obvious benefit is NATIONAL exposure from a national organisation that works closely with the government and companies. We will be working closely through the coming year and it isn't just one way - I will be showing up on their social media channels.
This is obviously going to benefit all my other sponsors - which is exactly my intent - we ALL benefit and all my sponsors end up helping each other. I have a lot of ideas on this!

Could there be any better suited partnership?
For years I have been doing #canuary .. when I only pick up cans during the month of January.
I was so excited to see what impact it made on the number of cans on the streets.. it didn't disappoint.
Jan, 2023.. I picked up nearly 8000 cans!! If you put them in a line it would be 1km long!
Jan, 2024.. after the introduction of the deposit system.. I found less than 2000!
There is still nearly 2000 cans on the ground but @statiegeldnederland and I are going to be working hard at reducing that even further!
If you don't follow them already, give them a follow because I will be popping up on their socials a lot haha
And that is the beauty of this partnership.. we work together to make an impact and we grow together to reach more people than ever.
