Statiegeld Nederland - Carnaval
Event, activation and content creation
As part of my sponsorship with Statiegeld Nederland, they asked me to attend the Carnaval Optocht at Oldenzaal
Requirement: be a part of the optocht team (in my banana suit) and create some content.
I was on the back of the last float encouraging the carnaval goers to hand in their cans and bottles so that the deposit money could be donated to the carnaval organisation.
Actual: I travelled by train in the banana suit creating content (instagram stories) along the way. On the train (and platforms) on the way there and back, I engaged with people telling them what I was doing and why.
At the optocht I made sure to be on the float to get the most engagement and filmed the event with a 360 camera
The content was posted on TikTok & Instagram (>1k likes, 88k views)
The content was additionally used by Statiegeld Nederland on their LinkedIn account.
No camera crews were needed or additional resources
