T-Shirt Iron-On Transfers
Don't buy a new shirt, pimp up an old one with my face on it! haha
Yep.. I am now selling t-shirt transfers!

Interested in buying one?
I don't yet have a webshop, so until I do just send me a message via the Contact Page
Why T-shirt Transfers?
For a few years, I have been making my own t-shirt designs.
I always say "When you pick up a piece of trash, you make an impact. But when people see you doing it, you can make a difference" Custom t-shirts help achieve that.
They can start a conversation.
They trigger a thought.
I make all the transfers myself using a vinyl cutter and I love using the Siser Eco Stretch material. It is perfect for running clothes (as well as regular cotton and polyester fabric).
Since I have been doing this, people have said I should sell t-shirts. But that doesn't sit right with me. I don't want more t-shirts being brought into the world!
Well, I have now come up with a way that you can help support my professional plogging career, promote plogging (and crazy adventures) and...refresh your old wardrobe!!!
I don't want you to buy a t-shirt I want you to dig out that really old shirt you have in the back of the wardrobe and give it a new lease of life!!
Seriously.. I would love to see these on a moth-eaten shirt!
That long-forgotten shirt used to be your favourite tee until it got those stains on it, well, now you can get it back on and wear those stains with pride! (OMG, maybe the transfers might even hide the stains! haha)
How to Apply the T-Shirt Transfer
This super easy..
What you need: Iron, scissors and a flat surface (preferrably an ironing board, but if not, then a table with a towel to put the shirt on is ok).
Step 1
Put your old shirt on an ironing board or table (if a table, put a towel underneath the shirt).

Step 2
Carefully peel off the backing paper off the transfers.

Step 3
Cut the transfers apart how you want to use them.

Step 4
Get your iron warm (just a bit cooler than the cotton setting).

Step 5
Make sure the steam setting of the iron is off

Step 6
Iron the shirt for 5 seconds with a firm pressure (no need to squash it to the ground, but it does need more than the weight of the iron on the shirt!).
This is to remove moisture from the shirt

Step 7
Place the transfer where you want it (don’t put it upside down or the wrong side up! - yep.. I've done that before hahahahaha).

Step 8
Put the transfer paper on top (this is what you peeled off earlier).
I am actually super chuffed with this idea.. I wasn't sure if people would have grease proof paper, so this way I use the tracing paper as a means of protecting the transfer until you use it and also for the application!

Step 9
Hold the iron firmly down on the transfer for 5-10 seconds (yep.. hardly any time at all)
Don't move it back an forth like you are ironing a shirt - lift and reposition instead if needed.

Step 10
While still warm, remove the backing paper slowly. If it doesn’t separate from the paper, give it a few more seconds with the iron.

Step 11
Repeat for all the other transfer items.

Step 12
Optional (or if the vinyl is slightly lighting off the shirt).. put the backing sheet on top and use the iron for another few seconds
